Why TIDESAFE® Timbers?
The TIDESAFE® brand is specific for Untreated Marine Grade Wood Products encompassing 3 tropical species. Azobe, Dinizia, and Greenheart of the highest grade are used to make the TIDESAFE® line. Each species is rated for structural submerged Saltwater use.
Our grading process sorts not only common defects but also against technically acceptable pieces that have characteristics associated with shortened product life cycles. For larger timbers, we measure waterline traces on the fourth face and reject any defects that may impact long term integrity.
TIDESAFE® products only come from responsibly managed forests with a third party verified chain of custody. Our mission is to provide a truly sustainable product lifecycle from beginning, use, through end.
